A wide range of factors are considered in admission decisions for the Master of Science in Construction Management program and the online Master of Science in Construction Management program. The following factors may also be considered for admission:

  • Work experience
  • Other academic achievements
  • Leadership
  • Community activities
  • An on-site, telephone, email, or similar interview with the Graduate Program Coordinator, the Department Head, or other member of the department faculty
  • Availability of faculty who are able to supervise the student’s plan of study

All applicants applying to the Master of Science in Construction Management program must meet the university graduate admission requirements and the following departmental requirements.

Minimum Education

In order to be admitted, your grade point average for the last 60 credit hours of undergraduate work should be at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Admitted applicants who are still earning the prerequisite degree are admitted contingent on the completion of that degree. Applicants who do not meet this contingency must reapply after graduation.
