Wallie Scott was a student of Bill Caudill at Texas A&M. Upon his graduation with a Bachelor’s in Architecture in 1947, he joined the fledgling firm of Caudill Rowlett, Architects. In 1948, when Scott became a partner, the firm’s name became Caudill Rowlett Scott, Architects. Scott developed the team concept of CRS through direct action with clients and through the firm’s business development activities. In 1973, Wallie Scott was named president and chief executive officer of the CRSS architectural subsidiary.
Scott retired in 1986, but continued to serve as a consultant to the company until his death in 1989.
