The Center for Heritage Conservation explores innovative approaches to preservation issues. We work to address the technical, philosophical, and practical needs of government agencies, communities, and private owners. We use cross-disciplinary teams of faculty and students to support historic and cultural resources.

The center and our fellows receive private and public grants and national funding to support our research activities, including:

  • Formal research contracts
  • Graduate dissertation and thesis research
  • Professional studies
  • Classroom and studio projects
