High School Outreach
It’s never too early to start planning for your future at Texas A&M University. The School of Architecture hosts several outreach programs designed to introduce high school students to all the academic programs, facilities and resources the school offers.

Student Ambassadors
Student ambassadors are undergraduate sophomores, juniors and seniors who welcome prospective students and visitors to the School of Architecture. Our student ambassadors excel academically, are active on campus and are equipped with the knowledge and passion to encourage you to do the same.

Camp ARCH
Camp ARCH is a one-week summer program for high-achieving high school students which combines academic instruction with social activities. High schoolers considering applying for a major in the School of Architecture are encouraged to also apply for Camp ARCH.
Students leave Camp ARCH with a broader understanding of our academic programs, initiatives, curriculum, resources and life in Aggieland.
Construction Academies
The Department of Construction Science hosts Construction Academies Career programs in San Antonio, Dallas, McAllen and Houston. These programs were created to introduce high schoolers to the study, industry, profession and general field of construction science.
Students considering applying for the construction science major are encouraged to apply for one of our academies. Thanks to the generous donations of the Construction Industry Advisory Council, attendance is free.
