Buzzing with activity year-round, the building is a home away from home for many students who stay late to work on projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, Langford A houses the <a href=\"https:\/\/arch.tamu.edu.staging2.juiceboxint.com\/about\/facilities\/makerplace\/\">MakerPlace<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/arch.tamu.edu.staging2.juiceboxint.com\/about\/facilities\/wright-gallery\/\">Wright Gallery<\/a> and Azimuth Caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"btn-wrapper \">\n\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"btn \" href=\"https:\/\/aggiemap.tamu.edu\/?bldg=0398\" target=\"_blank\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tView Langford A on Aggie Maps\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\n\t<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"administration\">Administration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The School of Architecture administrative offices located throughout Langford A include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The Office of the Dean (2nd floor)<\/li><li>Office of Student Services (2nd floor)<\/li><li>Business Office (2nd floor)<\/li><li>Office of Information Technology Services (1st floor)<\/li><li>Communications (1st floor)<\/li><li>Department of Architecture (4th floor)<\/li><li>Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning (3rd floor)<\/li><li>CRS Center (4th floor)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"studios\">Studios<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Many degree program classes are held in studios, where students produce large-scale projects over a semester&#8217;s time, mirroring how they\u2019ll work in an industry environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"history\">History<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Langford A building was constructed in 1977. The building was designed by former student Jack R. Yardley \u201858 and was built by HKS in Dallas \u2014 a firm that was founded by Harwood K.
