In addition to the university graduate admission requirements, the Master of Architecture career change program<\/a> requires the following.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Recipients of any bachelor’s degree, other than a pre-professional degree in architecture or environmental design, may apply for admission to the Career Change program. The Career Change program enables students who hold degrees in fields other than architecture to enter the Master of Architecture program.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n All students who are accepted are recommended to enter the program with sufficient preparation in math and physics \u2014 algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and basic physics.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Admitted applicants who are still earning the prerequisite degree are admitted contingent on the completion of that degree. Applicants who do not meet this contingency must reapply after graduation.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n R\u00e9sum\u00e9s should include your employment history, educational record, publications, awards, and any community\/volunteer experiences you may have. Please upload your r\u00e9sum\u00e9 to the <\/span>Texas A&M GradCas System<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Your statement of purpose should clearly demonstrate your interest in the program. Statements of purpose are used to gauge whether an applicant will be a good fit in the program based on research interests and prior experiences. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n You should provide three letters of recommendation from individuals who are familiar with your academic achievement and potential. If you have been out of school for a number of years and are unable to contact former professors, you may submit non-academic references (e.g., employers).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\nMinimum Education<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
