While the Center for Heritage Conservation tries very hard to support its work through grant-sponsored and contracted projects, we also believe very strongly in assisting local communities and small heritage organizations in Texas that do not always have extensive financial resources. Support from generous benefactors helps us to cover the expenses of project-related travel for our students and fellows as well as “unseen” costs, such as software, hardware maintenance and replacement, licensing fees, etc.
