Scholars Study Climate Change Impact on Gulf Coast Communities
Team member Meyer is collaborating with 4 other institutions to understand future climate change impacts for the Beaumont and Port Arthur areas of Coastal Texas. Meyer and colleagues from the Hazard Reduction & Recovery Center will lead the social science aspects of a $17 million grant from the Department of Energy’s new Urban Integrated Field Lab program.
