Co-PI Begins Research on 3D Printing Concrete

Co-PI Sideris started a new research project on Concrete 3D printing supported by (and to be executed in collaboration with) the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This project will investigate the response of concrete 3D printed walls under axial compression and under out-of-plane loading. He was interviewed by the American Society of Civil Engineers about how innovations in building technologies and materials, like his team’s, can reduce climate change.
